Policies are in order to insure efficient quality and outstanding services to all clients of Dapper Dog Mobile. It is the owner’s responsibility to provide a healthy and groom-able pet. Every Client is required to sign this Policy Agreement prior to any grooming services being performed.
- I do hereby entrust my pet(s) to Dapper Dog Mobile for the purpose of grooming my pet(s).
- All pets must be up to date on Rabies Vaccination.
- Aggressive/biting dogs will not be accepted.
- Dogs that exhibit extreme behaviors such as continuously struggling, biting, urinating or defecating during the grooming process will be returned to the owner unfinished at full price.
- Ear plucking and anal gland expression are no longer done on every dog. If it is requested by the owner, Dapper Dog Mobile will not be liable for any side affects from these procedures.
- Prices are non-negotiable. Payment is due at time of service. Cash, checks, or Credit/Debit Cards are accepted. If payment is not available at the time of service or if invoice is issued, payment is to be made by 9 pm on day of service or a $10 late fee will be apply every day it is late.
- Appointment time slots are approximate due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, mechanical malfunctions, traffic, or extended grooming times of an earlier appointment. In such cases, I will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the time adjustment.
- During Winter/Summer months we reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to extreme weather conditions. This is not only to protect our mobile unit but also for the safety of the pet and the stylist. You will be notified promptly to reschedule.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule please give 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in a $30 fee.
- If your pet is not available for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a fee up to full price of the grooming service.
- Pet owners are not allowed in the mobile unit during the grooming process. Pets are easily distracted by their owners can pose a safety risk for the dog and groomer.
- If you are not 100% completely satisfied with my services, please contact me within 24 hours of the appointment, and I will do my best to resolve the issue.
- Please have your pet ready at the scheduled appointment time.
- Photos and/or Videos may be taken of your pet before, during or after styling for use on Dapper Dog Mobile Facebook and Instagram.
- Owners are responsible for keeping their pet flea and tick free. If we must treat for parasites then an additional fee of $20 will apply.
- If latch key services are requested, the owner agrees to leave the pet in a contained area for easy access. I also authorize Dapper Dog Mobile to provide services for my pet while I am away from home.
- If your pet is severely matted, every effort is made to protect your pet’s skin and coat while removing hair on a matted pet. The skin can become extremely sensitive and incur clipper marks, abrasions, rashes, nicks, itchiness, or redness. Shaving extremely matted ears might also encourage head shaking causing hematomas. You, as the owner, agree to in no way hold Dapper Dog Mobile responsible for any problems resulting from grooming of your matted pet. Additional charges on top of regular grooming fees will apply.
- I authorize Mary Thompson / Dapper Dog Mobile to act as my agent in the event emergency veterinarian services, boarding, care taking, and /or transportation is necessary.
- Pre-existing conditions shall not be limited to advanced age, extreme nervousness, illness, previous injury, skin or coat conditions, or mental conditions.
- Each client will be required to sign an online policy and service agreement before the first appointment.
